Some visual problems are the direct result of eye disease. Bacterial conjunctivitis and glaucoma are two such diseases that can sometimes have serious consequences and that can only be diagnosed by an ophthalmic specialist. Therefore, we advise you to have your eyesight checked regularly by an ophthalmologist. 
 
Of course, if you have any questions about eye diseases, your Visilab optician will be happy to assist you. However, as a precautionary measure, we advise you to consult your doctor or ophthalmologist as quickly as possible.

Your distance vision, near vision, visual field, distance estimation and binocular vision can all be tested online. These tests can be used to identify visual deficiencies. They merely represent a general guide: tests performed professionally by your optician or ophthalmologist are the only way to establish your visual correction needs. Only an eye care professional can provide a full diagnosis of visual problems.
