An all-inclusive service with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 pairs of optical glasses. An annual eye examination. An annual replacement of one pair of optical glasses and/or replacement of the prescription lenses of all pairs of glasses if the vision in one eye has changed by at least 0.5 dioptres. A guarantee against breakage, loss and theft, after payment of an excess by the customer. A 90-day customer satisfaction guarantee. Maintenance and minor repairs. A 25% discount on non-prescription sunglasses. How many pairs of glasses are included in Visilab Optimum? Visilab Optimum includes a minimum of 2 pairs and a maximum of 5 pairs of optical glasses or prescription sunglasses.What subscription periods are available? For 2 pairs, the minimum contract term is 24 months. For 3, 4 or 5 pairs, the minimum contract term is 36 months. After 11 months, it is possible to exchange one pair of glasses each year and/or to replace the prescription lenses of all pairs. This extends the minimum contract term by 12 months. Which prescription lenses/frames/glasses are included in the subscription? All prescription lenses and frames up to CHF 1000.- can be covered by the Visilab Optimum subscription. Non-prescription sunglasses are not included in the subscription. Glasses for children and teenagers are not included. CostsWhat does the Visilab Optimum monthly payment include? The monthly payment corresponds to all the pairs of glasses included in the subscription, as well as the all-inclusive service pack for each pair.Can the Visilab Optimum subscription be combined with current offers? No, the subscription cannot be combined with current offers.ContractCan the customer change their glasses (frame + prescription lenses) during the term of the contract? The customer can change each element of each pair once during the validity of the customer satisfaction guarantee. From the 11th month after activation of the contract, it is possible to replace one pair of optical glasses each year.Can the customer buy a pair/pairs of optical glasses during the subscription period? The optical glasses may be purchased by the customer if they terminate the contract at the end of the minimum contract term. A pair of glasses may also be purchased by the customer if it is replaced according to the terms of the contract. Glasses purchased by the customer are no longer covered by the Visilab Optimum service pack.Can the contract be suspended? The contract cannot be suspended.What happens at the end of the minimum contract term? The customer may also send a letter of cancellation to Visilab Customer Service, giving 3 months’ notice, in which case the customer may keep the glasses. All invoices issued on the date of cancellation are payable by the customer.PaymentWhat payment methods are available? 2 payment methods are available: QR-bill and debit by credit card.When are QR-bill payments due? Payment of QR-bills is due on the last day of the month in which they are issued. The payment term for QR-bills is 30 days.How can I find my invoices? All invoices are sent by e-mail. Can the Visilab Optimum subscription be reimbursed by health insurance/supplementary insurance cover? Some insurance companies may cover all or part of the cost of the Visilab Optimum subscription. As each company is different, it is best to find out in advance what cover is available. At the beginning of each year, a summary of all the monthly payments made in the previous year is sent to each customer. The contract is always concluded between Visilab and the customer, not with third parties. Is it possible to use a gift card to pay for the subscription? No, that is not possible.Services and guaranteesWhat guarantees apply to Visilab Optimum? 90-day satisfaction guarantee. Protection against theft, loss and damage, after payment of an excess by the customer. See the “Services and guarantees” section. All the usual manufacturer’s warranties. What happens in the event of loss or theft? The customer is protected against loss or theft and has the right to have their optical glasses replaced throughout the duration of the contract. This guarantee is valid for a single case of loss or theft of each pair of glasses included in the contract. Loss or theft must be reported immediately, stating the circumstances. The information provided must be true and complete. If the loss of glasses is due to a crime (theft), a copy of the police report must be provided. The same pair of glasses (lenses and frame) will be reordered unless they are no longer available. In this case, the customer can choose another frame from the same price range. In the event of loss or theft, the customer must pay 30% of the gross price of the new pair of glasses. This amount is payable directly in store (payment by QR-bill or debit by credit card is not possible). If the content of the contract is affected, a new contract must be signed. This does not alter the amount of the monthly payments or the minimum term of the contract. What happens if something gets broken? In the event of breakage, exchanges are free and unlimited for the 24 months following delivery of the pair of glasses concerned. From the 25th month onwards, the customer must pay an excess corresponding to 30% of the price of the new item. This amount is payable directly in store (payment by QR-bill or debit by credit card is not possible). All claims must be reported immediately, stating the circumstances. The information provided must be true and complete. The same item will be reordered unless it is no longer available. In this case, the customer can choose an equivalent item from the same price range. If the content of the contract is affected, a new contract must be signed. This does not alter the amount of the monthly payments or the minimum term of the contract.
